PRINCIPAL
Jessica, Co-Founder and Principal of Deforma Studio, serves as the firm’s Creative Director, guiding the conceptual vision and design direction across all residential, hospitality, and interior projects. With a strong combination of creative intuition and analytical rigor, she plays a key role in shaping the design intent at the earliest stages of each project, establishing a clear conceptual foundation that informs the broader architectural approach.
With over 23 years of experience in architecture, Jessica has contributed to a wide range of projects, including high-rise residential and commercial developments, boutique and resort hotels, convention hotels, and mixed-use communities throughout the Americas. Her work reflects a consistent focus on design clarity, spatial experience, and contextual response, with a particular strength in establishing strong conceptual frameworks that elevate project outcomes.
Jessica has been involved in the design and development of LEED-certified hospitality projects in Washington, D.C., Costa Rica, and the Turks and Caicos, as well as luxury spa and wellness environments in Miami and across the Caribbean. Her portfolio reflects a commitment to thoughtful, experience-driven design across diverse cultural and environmental contexts.
Raised outside of New York in Connecticut, Jessica draws inspiration from a global design perspective shaped by academic studies abroad and extensive travel throughout Japan, Southeast Asia, and Europe. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art and Architectural History from Tulane University and a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania.
